It's probably too late to plant carrots, but I figured I'd try.  I got a packet of free seeds from the Agriculture Extension plant sale I went to awhile back so I reasoned I've got nothing to lose.

I'm a wanna-be square foot gardener who has yet to actually mark out the square feet, so this is as close as I could get.

I was also excited to see the broccoli is actually starting to LOOK like broccoli.  Yay!  We only have eight plants, but I'm hoping to be able to freeze enough to last us partly into the winter.
I am going to love fall gardening... it's not too hot out in the sun and it's really exciting to think that even as winter approaches, we'll still have fresh veggies.
